Profile
Mr. Yamaguchi graduated from the law school and entered to the Japan Patent Office (JPO) in 1974 to become an examiner in an electrical field with his knowledge on electronics and telecommunication. After working in the JPO for 14 years, Mr. Yamaguchi moved to the U.S. in 1988. He has worked in several law firms and experienced in prosecuting patent, design and trademark applications while having an experience on patent litigation. Mr. Yamaguchi attended depositions and witnessed at courts in the U.S. as an expert on the Japanese Patent Law. In 2023, 35 years after he moved to the U.S., Mr. Yamaguchi came back to Japan to advise Japanese clients on U.S. patent, design and trademark practices. Mr. Yamaguchi is a member of New York Bar, District of Columbia Bar and Japan Patent Attorney Association.
