Profile

Ms. Segawa majored in law at university.   In particular, she studied the legal system from Edo era to the present day, leading up to the current legal system.  In the process, she developed an interest in intellectual property, and after graduating from Osaka-City University, which is currently known as Osaka Metropolitan University, Ms. Segawa started working at another IP firm as a clerical staff member.  As a leader of the administrative department, she was involved in the prosecution of domestic and foreign cases in the fields of patent, design, and trademark.
