Fukami Patent Office is continuing to conduct business as usual, and has taken specific measures in response to the Japanese Government’s “Declaration of a State of Emergency” due to the spread of COVID-19.   Please note the following points below.

1. In order to reduce the risk of infection among our members and in the community, we have been implementing staggered work hours at all our offices.  Telecommuting has already been implemented in the Tokyo Office and we will also start to telecommute in the Osaka and the Nagoya Office as much as possible.

2. Due to the telecommuting of some of our members, answering telephone calls may be delayed.  For this reason, we would highly appreciate it if you could use e-mail to contact our Offices in Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya.

3. For the most efficient handling and fastest response, please direct all faxes, parcels or mail correspondence  to our Osaka Office.
