On September 3 and 4, 2019, at the Baosheng Daogu Hotel (Blossom Tao Hotel) in Hangzhou City, a seminar organized by Kangxin Partners, P.C. was held between five countries (the United States, China, the Netherlands, Mexico and Japan).  At this seminar, in addition to our patent attorneys, patent attorneys from Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, N.V. Nederlandsch Octrooibureau, and Arochi & Lindner also gave lectures.

Mr. Nobuo Arakawa, patent attorney and Divisional Manager of the 2nd Mechanical Division, delivered a lecture on “Patent Enforcement in Japan” in English.

Also, Mr. Akihiro Oda, patent attorney of the 1st Mechanical/Design Division, delivered a lecture on “Design Enforcement in Japan” in Chinese.

Each lecture was followed by an active Q & A session, and the audience showed a strong interest in protecting intellectual property rights abroad.
