On November 26, 2018, at Nakanoshima Central Tower, the Global Litigation and Intellectual Property Symposium, co-organized by DLA Piper LLP (US), Daiichi PLC (JP), and us, Fukami Patent Office, P.C., was held. 

Mr. Masato Sasaki, Divisional Manager of our International Patent/Design division participated as a panelist during the program of international intellectual property and discussed “The US rule on discovery and attorney-client privilege, frequent errors and its prevention measures as well as protection of privilege”. 

At this panel discussion, Mr. Kazuto Yamamoto, attorney-at-law and partner of Daiichi PLC, and Mr. Shuzo Maruyama, attorney-at-law of DLA Piper, also participated as panelists.  Mr. Tomohiro Takahashi, senior associate of our International Patent/Design division served as chair of the symposium.
