The 140th Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA) was held in Seattle on May 19-23, 2018.
We sent a delegation of four attorneys this year, Ms. Miki Tomii, Mr. Jun Fujikawa, Mr. Hirohisa Miyazawa, and Mr. Nobuyuki Akagi.  During the meeting, the members had 77 meetings with our foreign agents and clients, and obtained the latest information regarding various countries’ intellectual property.  Our delegation found that it was also a great opportunity to maintain and expand our network relationships.

Ms. Tomii had also accepted the role of INTA Table Topic Moderator.  The topic title was “To File or Not To File Through WIPO – Strategic Approaches to Global Trademark Protection -“
