The 45th Annual Meeting of Intellectual Property Owners (IPO) was held on September 17-19, 2017 in the Marriott Marquis, in San Francisco, California, USA.
In the Annual Meeting, a session “International Filing Strategies and Cost Management” was held on September 18 by the “International Patent Law & Practice” Committee, and Mr. Masahiko Miwa, a patent attorney of Fukami Patent Office, Divisional Manager of the 2nd Electrical/Information Division, participated in the session as a panel speaker and made a presentation on the theme “How to Draft Applications Fit for Global Prosecution.”
In this session, four other patent attorneys also made presentations on similar themes, followed by a question and answer session.
